Alex lost his leg to bone cancer, and our Foundation donated matching funds of $500 after the local Lions Club where he lives (Red Lake Falls) donated that same amount.  Alex is in remission and appears to be doing awesome!  Here is the story from the local news.

She is strong! She is fierce! She is kind! After a two-year battle with #leukemia, Braxton finished chemotherapy last week. Today, 3M Open named her their 2021 Junior Ambassador in recognition of her resilience and desire to give back. Help us congratulate Braxton for this amazing honor!

'The Sky's Not Even The Limit': Cancer Survivor To Become Youngest American In Space


Another positive story about a childhood cancer survivor! With the help of Minnesota Lions, the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital is working to minimize the side effects of treatment for childhood cancer so that ALL survivors can maximize their potential - in this case, literally, reach for the stars!
